I can’t even deal with the way that Deeks looks at Kensi sometimes all the time. It’s that sideways stare, when they’re in the car usually and it’s so deep and meaningful and oh man. It’s like he is looking at this strong, funny and smart woman and just sort of like wondering how he got here, partnered up with this awesome and mysterious person who he’s learning more and more about every day - who is slowly beginning to open up to him, which is a pretty big deal. Kensi who is so much more open, and willing to have a crack and yet is still the craziest, most committed and hard-working person he knows. She still surprises him, I think that is also a lot behind the look. Maybe she’ll say something a bit more personal, but will say it so willingly and without thought that he’s shocked. Or maybe he just sort of realised that she’s a little bit perfect, but not so much so that she wouldn’t need him.
